- Find a dark spot - Get away from street lights and buildings
- Wait 20 minutes - Let your eyes adjust to the darkness
- Look for the North Star first - Find the Big Dipper, then follow the two end stars up!
- Use your fist - Your fist at arm's length is about 10 degrees of sky
- Best time - 1-2 hours after sunset when it's fully dark
- Bring a red flashlight - Red light won't ruin your night vision!
